There are four types of numbers:
  • CC -- the class of complex numbers.
  • QQ -- the class of rational numbers.
  • RR -- the class of real numbers.
  • ZZ -- the class of integers.

    • Standard predefined numbers:

  • pi -- pi.
  • ii -- the square root of -1.

    • Some other quantities which are not quite numbers:

  • infinity
  • -infinity
  • indeterminate
