Workshop on Representations and Cohomology


University of Cologne, March 1-6, 2009

Arrival: Sunday, March 1.
Departure: Friday, March 6.
Talks will start on Monday morning. The workshop will be closed on Friday afternoon. A poster of the workshop (pdf format) can be downloaded here.

The workshop will consist of three lecture series of three talks each, as well as further invited and contributed talks.

There also will be contributed talks by participants. Moreover, all participants are encouraged to produce posters on recent research, to be put up near the lecture hall where the workshop will take place.

Accommodation

We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the hotel "Flandrischer Hof" which is in walking distance to both the university and the city centre. Rates for a single room are 65 Euros a day, including breakfast. Also double rooms are available for the rate of 90 Euros (74 Euros for single occupancy). Please quote 'ALGEBRA' when booking.

Limited financial support is expected to be available, in particular for PhD students and postdocs. The workshop is supported by Rheinenergie-Stiftung Wissenschaft via the network
Representation theory of algebras and algebraic Lie theory. Further support has been provided by the Verein der Freunde und Förderer der Universität zu Köln.

Registration

Registration has been closed on 15 February. You are still welcome to attend the workshop, but the deadline for submitting abstracts and for applications for funding has expired. If you are still planning to attend without registration, please send an informal email to one of the organizers stating your dates of arrival and departures.
