All students attending my classes can reach me in room 231 in MSB (second floor) or by phone on number 486-3916 during the office hours listed in the above schedule or contact me by e-mail.
The textbook used is Single Variable Calculus by Gerald L.Bradley & Karl J. Smith. The course will cover sections 3.9-6.4 and 7.2.
Exams, quizzes, projects, homework:
- | Three hour-long exams: February 25, April 1, and April 29. In case of a missed exam (for some serious reason) a make-up can be granted. |
- | Approximately 10 quizzes and 10 projects (projects on Wednesdays, quizzes on Fridays, unless announced otherwise). Two lowest quiz grades and two lowest project grades will be dropped. No make-ups. |
- | Assigned homework will not be collected. |
The final grade consists of the following four components:
- | Quizzes | 20% |
- | Projects | 20% |
- | 3 hour-long exams | 30% |
- | Final exam | 30% |
