This page is meant to help students in MATH 211, section 3, which I teach in the spring semester of 2001, to get important information about the class. It contains:
End of the semester information:
  • The Final Exam is on Wednesday, May 16, 8:00-10:00 a.m. in MSB 311.
  • Office hours:
    Wednesday, May 9   11:00-12:00
    Thursday, May 1010:30-11:30
    Monday, May 149:00-10:00
    Tuesday, May 153:00-5:00
  • The Mac Lab closes for the semester on Tuesday, May 8.
  • Check the grades on the web - the Final Exam grade and the grade for the entire semester have been posted.
    The page is password protected and will list the grades under a nickname. So if you would like your grade to be posted there, please send me an e-mail with your nickname and I will send you back the password.

All students attending my classes can reach me in room 233 in MSB (second floor), by phone 486-2362 during the office hours listed in the above schedule, or contact me by e-mail.

The textbook used is Differential Equations by Paul Blanchard, Robert L. Devaney, Glen R. Hall.

Exams, projects, homework:
  • Two midterm exams (20% of the final grade each)
  • The Final Exam (40% of the final grade)
  • One or two projects that will be collected (20% of the final grade)
  • Assigned homework will be reviewed at the beginning of the next class but not collected
