| From A1 | At the Intercestion Köln-Nord, change to Highway A57 direction

| From A57 | Exit the highway at Ehrenfeld.
Proceed in the direction of Lindenthal
(this is a right turn right after a tunnel)
and onto the Innere Kanalstraße which turns into
Universitätsstraße.
Continue on Universitätsstraße until it intersects
with Kerpener Straße (again the first street after a tunnel).
Turn right into Kerpener Straße.
Make a right turn into the next street, which is Weyertal.
After the second intersection you find the institute on the right hand side.
