Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN). Service is provided to and from most of Europe.
In addition, there are international airports in

Travel to Bonn
The MPIM is located within 5 minutes walking distance from Bonn Hauptbahnhof, see the map.
From Cologne-Bonn Airport
From here it is easiest and cheapest to use the bus SB60 to Bonn Hbf which leaves every 30 minutes. Tickets are available on the bus 7,70 € (Preisstufe 4, Regioticket). The ride takes about 30 minutes.
From Düsseldorf
The easiest connection uses the train line RE5 from the train station Düsseldorf Airport, platform 4, to Bonn Hbf. Tickets are available
online or at the vending machines at the station and cost 16,80 €. Other connections, where you need to change trains, usually take longer and are more expensive.
From Frankfurt
Best take an ICE or IC either directly to Bonn Hbf, or either to Köln Hbf or Köln Messe Deutz from where you can use a regional train to get to Bonn. Ticket prices range from 19 € to about 75 € (2nd class). You can get your most convenient connection from
Deutsche Bahn.
